About

The Greensboro Science Center is home to three great attractions in one destination! In Animal Discovery Zoological Park, visitors enjoy close-up encounters with tigers, meerkats, howler monkeys, crocodiles, wallabies, gibbons and many more animals! Inside the Museum, visitors can hear the roar of a 36-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex model in the Dinosaur Gallery, experience wild weather in the Extreme Weather Gallery, take an interactive journey through the human body, visit live snakes in the herpetarium, and enjoy hands-on learning in Kid’s Alley and in our touch lab. The Museum is also home to the OmniSphere Theater, where visitors young and old can watch awe-inspiring, full-dome digital, laser and eye-popping 3D shows. The Carolina SciQuarium, North Carolina’s only inland aquarium features sharks, stingrays, penguins, otters, a fishing cat, hundreds of fish and much more!

The Greensboro Science Center also offers a wide variety of educational programs, field trips and science workshops for children pre-K through high school.  The TriceraShop offers unique gifts for children and adults of all ages!
